Classy Museum Engagement Session | Engagement Photographers in Atlanta, GA

Tessa and Ian’s engagement session was on the RAINIEST of days, but that's what makes the venue for this engagement session so perfect! We didn't have to cancel because of weather!

This was my first time taking photos here, so I have a few recommendations on this experience:

  1. Weekdays of course are best (and also the only option), but the last hour before close on a Friday was rather quiet here. WHICH WE LOVE. We didn't have to get in the way of too many people when taking these photos, so it was a win-win situation.

  2. Parking was TRASH as usual! If you book with me for a session here, then I know a parking spot that is really close and avoids a lot of walking!

Fun fact, we got LOCKED IN THE BUILDING LOL. We found the janitor there and they let us out thankfully! I highly recommend you make sure you're out BEFORE close, because they will not warn you haha!

Afterwards we went to Ponce City Market and ate at Minero to discuss wedding day timeline details, their love story, and their vision for their wedding day!

What's their love story? It's truly one of my favorites: Tessa and Ian's mothers were ROOMMATES in COLLEGE! Their moms found out they were going to the same summer abroad program, and begged them to take a photo together! Tessa and Ian took this photo together for their mothers begrudgingly, but later on down the road they fell in love. They had to navigate a long-distance relationship, and ultimately decided that they wanted to get married. As a result, you can see the love and the strong friendship that Tessa and Ian have built in absolutely every image.

HERE'S A LOOK AT TESSA AND IAN'S CLASSY ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT A LOCAL MUSEUM IN ATLANTA, GA!

Thanks for your time! Stay tuned for a look at their wedding at Cheaha State Park in Alabama!
